Hyperdense Humane Urbanism

The thesis aims to devise an alternative planning instrument for society in view of discreting traditional tree structural urban and suburban planning system. Advancing from the legacies of legacies of Rem Koolhaas and MVRDV’s self-efficient planning approach of vertical urbanism. The key agenda is to minimize urban footprint and reactivate different program within a vertical hyper-density model.

Moreover, if a city does not tectonically involve from humanistic expression, urban complexity will only be a shelter for staying in, and become the homogeneous status quo. What if we reinterpreted the planning system with Le-Corbusier’s “Modulor” system for the scale of architecture. The whole society will become a social encounter and engagement; the foundations of a healthy civic sphere.
