Living in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of the densest and most hybrid city in East Asia. In my 5 years’ stay in Hong Kong, the city attracts me with its complexity and uncertainty, whilst concerns me for the living situation and public space. Thus my thesis will take root in the crises, opportunity, changes and challenges of contemporary Hong Kong, focus on everyday life and wellbeing of common people. The scale and topic of my thesis project is to be confirmed. It could either be a large scale housing project, or narrowed down to the design of single apartment/prototype.
